Join us for a wine tasting competition where you have the chance to win multiple cases of wine!
Event Includes:
- Wine tasting competition.
(Each team must bring 3 identical bottles of red wine to participate.)
- Hors d'oeuvres and drinks
- Auction and Games
- Music by Tekneek
How it Works:
- Each team is required to bring 3 identical bottles of red wine. A team consists of 1 to 3 people. If you have 4 people in your group, you will need to divide into two teams of 2 and bring six bottles of wine.
- When you arrive, all 3 bottles of will be given to the hosts. Two of the bottles will be wrapped to conceal the identity and will be used for tasting. The third bottle will be set aside and used for prizes.
- Each team will be given five votes for the night.
- As your team tastes the wines, you will vote for your favorites.
- At the end of the night, the votes will be counted, and the teams that brought the top 3 favorite wines will take home everyone's third bottle of wine.
- IF YOUR WINE WINS, YOU WIN TOO!!
- If two or more teams bring the same kind of wine, it will not matter. Votes may differ depending upon temperature, etc.
Tickets:
- Tickets are no longer available for advance purchase, but they are $20 at the door.
- Each individual team member needs a ticket.
- $5 discount for MyScoop and YP cardholders
Parking:
The Kress Building is Downtown Birmingham on 19th Street North between 3rd and 4th Avenues North. There will be free parking in the Park Rite parking deck on the corner of 19th Street and and 4th Avenue. The entrance to the deck is on 4th Ave.
